
Kenichi Kasamatsu

Based in New York City, Kenichi Kasamatsu is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer known for working with the most renowned choreographers in the nation like Keone and Mari, Nappytabs, and Kyle Hanagami! As a dancer, Kenichi has performed on stage and music videos for Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, Daddy Yankee, and Mark Ronson.
As the founder and director of akompany, Kenichi’s original choreography and sounds were recently featured in his first two full-length shows, “one, two, three.” and “kazoku.” He continues to teach regularly at Peridance Capezio Center and Broadway Dance Center, but also travels the nation to teach at conventions and workshops in other countries such as China, Peru, Japan, and Thailand.
Kenichi prioritizes the longevity of everyone’s love and passion for dance through cultivating spaces with a sense of community, where all can come together to learn, laugh, and love together.
