Born in Spain and raised in Colorado, Larkin Poynton founded numerous community-centric organizations, artistic development events, and companies to spread unity within the dance community. Some examples include: Side By Side Dance Company, Murmuration, and Project Home. Larkin uses movement as a means for human connection and self-cultivation, investing a lot of time and effort into developing dance communities around the world. He has taught nationally and internationally for many years, widely spreading his knowledge and strong passion for expression and communal worth.
